Artesania – U.S.S “Constellation” American frigate.
Built in 1797 in Baltimore, this frigate had a varied service life including capturing numerous ships, preventing the annexation of the Hawaiian Islands by the English Navy in 1843 and transporting food to Ireland during the great potato famine of 1845-49.
It was also the first American warship to visit China in 1842 and was designated a training vessel in 1871.
Today it is a museum ship at Baltimore.
Construction of the kit is by false keel and frames.
The kit contains high precision laser-cut components, wood, brass, cast metal fittings and fabric sails ready to be rigged.
Instruction guide in five languages with multiple images, accompanied by the drawings of the finished model, both of them on DVD.
NOTE: The kit does not include printed instructions.
