Built in 1839 by Alexander Hall and Company, the design was influenced by the regulations concerning taxes and fees of the period.
It took about 49 hours for the journey between Aberdeen and London, and its design was widely reproduced.
Kit construction is by means of false keel and frames. Contains laser cut timber, wood strips, brass, cast iron fittings and cotton sails.
