Employed in the Navy from the middle of the eighteenth century to counter smugglers.
Cutters excelled at patrol and despatch duties due to their speed.
The original vessel was 52’ 6” length of keel, 17’ 6” wide, displaced about 60 tons and carried about 30 crew.
Her armament was 10 x 3 pdr. carriage guns and 12 x swivel guns on her bulwarks.
Kit contents include laser cut wood parts in birch ply and walnut, metal and wooden fittings.

Suitable for the beginner / intermediate modeller. Ideal introduction to plank on bulkhead modelling.
