Caldercraft – H.M. Yacht “Chatham”
H.M. Yacht “Chatham” was launched in Chatham Dockyard in 1741.
Yachts were of Dutch origin and were introduced in Britain in 1660 by Charles II.
“Chatham” was rebuilt in 1794 at Chatham Dockyard and was not broken up until 1867.
This kit depicts H.M. Yacht “Chatham” as she was after this rebuild (1794)
Kit includes Double plank on bulkhead construction, Walnut CNC cut parts, all necessary cast decoration, photo etch brass detail including window frames, black & natural hemp for rigging,
