Brass Nails

Round Head Fine Brass Nails sold in varying lengths.

Pointed Nails:
4134/07, 4134/10 & 4134/12 Diameter 0.8mm

4136/10 is Ultra Fine. Diameter 0.3mm

Cut Point Nails:

4135/12 (also known as “no point” or “cut point” nails) are primarily used in wooden Kit Modelling for precise, delicate assembly where splitting the wood must be avoided. To be used with Nail Setter.

You can use pointless nails to:

·  – Lower risk of damaging the wood, especially very thin strips such as for second hull planking. Gently pressing a smooth pin into the wood results in more uniform insertion and reduces cracking or tearing.

·  – They are often used together with pre-drilling or tools such as pin pushers or micro pin nailers to ensure accurate placement.

·  – They can also be used temporarily as “holding pins” during glue curing: you insert them until the glue dries, then remove them or cut them flush before proceeding with the second planking layer.
