Scale model of the 1964 modern day replica of the famous Canadian fishing schooner “Bluenose”, originally built in Nova Scotia in 1921, and wrecked near Haiti in 1946.
“Bluenose “II” serves as a tourist attraction at the town of Lunenburg.
Kit features pre-formed solid timber hull, brass parts such as nails, windlass brake, hinges, nameplate, and chainplates, cast propeller, anchor, ship’s wheel, air vents and pumps.
Light and dark cotton thread for rigging. Beige cotton fabric for sails.
All wood construction.
