Warranty / Guarantee

There are consumer Guarantees that apply to goods you purchase.
All goods sold in Australia come with Guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Products will be replaced at FLOAT a BOAT’s expense if defective or damaged when received. Contact FLOAT a BOAT to obtain instructions for any returns. Products must be returned, if possible, in the original, undamaged packaging with the original receipt (Tax Invoice). If a replacement is not obtainable, a refund may be made. This excludes damage that is obviously due to mishandling, inappropriate use, failure to follow usage instructions, normal maintenance, wear and tear, etc.

Note that a refund is not obtainable if goods are returned because the customer has changed their mind. However, it can be exchanged for another item or a Gift Voucher can be issued to the amount of the item. In this case the item must be returned well protected or in the original packaging complete with instructions and accessories supplied, in a saleable condition. A restocking fee may be applied. Please contact us before returning the item for approval of the exchange.

However, there may be circumstances where you are not entitled to a remedy.

Product Malfunction

If a customer experiences a malfunction of a product purchased from FLOAT a BOAT that initially performed as required, its replacement or repair is subject to any applicable Warranties or Guarantees offered by the Manufacturer.  Details of any Warranties or Guarantees offered for a particular product are included in that product’s packaging at the time of purchase.

FLOAT a BOAT will do our best to help our customers as much as reasonably possible in referring such claims to a Manufacturer.
