Freight and Handling

FLOAT a BOAT will deliver your order by Australia Post or Courier which ever is the most economical for the destination noted.

Freight costs are calculated by our staff after the order in your shopping cart is e-mailed to us.

Both Australia Post and Couriers can charge freight by a ‘volume assumed weight’ so a lightweight but large, bulky item may attract a higher postage rate based on size rather than actual weight.

If you are not at the delivery address at the time of delivery, a notice will be left in your letterbox advising of either a re-delivery or a pickup at your local Post Office.
Please note: Proof of ID is required when collecting your parcel from the Post Office.

If a customer requests that their parcel NOT be registered, then FLOAT a BOAT is unable to guarantee delivery as no tracking is provided for that parcel.

If you choose this option, the parcel becomes your responsibility once it leaves our shop.

It is recommended that items sent overseas be fully insured if valued at $100.00 or over. This incurs an extra small fee which is added to the freight cost, but if the customer does not want this extra protection, FLOAT a BOAT cannot be held liable for any losses which may arise.
